Re: [cpierce] Here's another hint - mbowman - 06-16-2011 Another and my last shot in the dark - Glendale Res. just because google images showed me some trees that looked right ![]() [signature] Re: [cpierce] Here's another hint - drowning_flys - 06-16-2011 the zoo ? does Idaho have turtles in the wild? [signature] Re: [drowning_flys] Here's another hint - mbowman - 06-16-2011 Believe it or not we do! While I was up at Beaver Dick in April, a Madison County Parks and Rec employee snatched one that was hanging out next to the boat ramp and brought it over to show my kids. I had no clue. [signature] Re: [drowning_flys] Here's another hint - cpierce - 06-16-2011 Yes, we do have some turtles. Surprised me too! After I saw the one, I looked them up and these are indigenous to this lake's area of Southeast Idaho. [signature] Re: [cpierce] Here's another hint - mbowman - 06-16-2011 It's not Bear Lake is it? I'm long overdue to hit that water, have a trip planned for the first weekend in July. [signature] Re: [mbowman] Here's another hint - drowning_flys - 06-16-2011 all be darned i had no idea either [cool] thanks [signature] Re: [mbowman] Here's another hint - cpierce - 06-16-2011 No, not Bear Lake. Foster is still the closest. [signature] Re: [cpierce] Here's another hint - cpierce - 06-16-2011 The turtle is a Western Painted Turtle and are considered native to Northern Idaho, but there is a small population in the area of St. Anthony and the Bear River area. They have even been caught in the Provo River at times, so maybe they are natives in any of the "Lake Bonneville" area. Just kind of rare to see. [signature] Re: [cpierce] Here's another hint - FISHID4LIFE - 06-17-2011 I don't know that area at all, but Glendale reservoir looks to be close to Foster so thats my guess [signature] Re: [FISHID4LIFE] Here's another hint - cpierce - 06-17-2011 No, not Glendale, but it is almost as close. [signature] Re: [cpierce] Here's another hint - mbowman - 06-17-2011 Winder? [signature] Re: [mbowman] Here's another hint - cpierce - 06-17-2011 No, not Winder closer to Foster. [signature] Re: [cpierce] Here's another hint - chrome_junky - 06-18-2011 Its Lamont! [signature] Re: [chrome_junky] Here's another hint - cpierce - 06-18-2011 Yes, it is Lamont, and you are the lucky winner CJ!!! [signature] Re: [cpierce] Here's another hint - TheOldSarge - 06-18-2011 So who's gonna post the next one? [signature] Re: [TheOldSarge] Here's another hint - cpierce - 06-18-2011 It is Chrome Junky's turn as he guessed the last one. We usually give them a few days to get something together. He is probably out chasing salmon again! [signature] Re: [cpierce] Here's another hint - chrome_junky - 06-19-2011 lol! nope working!!!!!!! here ya go! should be easy as for what body of water it is but lets make it interesteing and see who can be the first to nail what hole it is!!!!
